Espresso or caffè espresso is a concentrated coffee beverage brewed by forcing very hot, but not boiling, water under high pressure through coffee that has been ground to a consistency between extremely fine and powder. Espresso was developed in Milan, Italy in the early 20th century, but up until the mid-1940s it was a beverage produced solely with steam pressure. The invention of the spring piston lever machine and its subsequent commercial success changed espresso into the beverage we know today. Espresso is now produced with between 9 and 10 atmospheres or bars of pressure. A good Espresso is the basis for all Latte's.

We serve the following Espresso based drinks. All drinks can also be served iced.

Espresso Macchiato: Espresso with milk froth
Cappuccino: Freshly brewed Espresso and a creamy cloud of hot frothed milk
Cafe au Lait or Latte: Espresso with hot milk and hot frothed milk
Latte Macchiato: In this Italian drink the espresso is added last which produces three layers of milk, Espresso and froth.
Hot Chocolate: Our traditional French Hot Chocolate is made with real chocolate powder
Mocha or White Mocha: The chocolate lover's coffee with Espresso and steamed milk
Raspberry Mocha: Add a kick of fruit flavor to this classic
French Kiss: Espresso, Irish Cream, French Vanilla and frothed milk
